World Earth Day

 What is earth day?

The issues that Earth Day was addressing were pollution and environmental issues. Just as it is the contamination of air, water, climatic changes. Among the most important. In April 1970, on March 21st, the activist John McConnell organizes a day to honor the earth but it is agreed that it will be on the 22nd. The important thing about Earth Day is to build a healthier and more sustainable environment, increase the use of recycling, protect our land, oceans, and air, prevent industries from polluting and destroying the natural spaces of the ecosystem, as well as promoting associations so that people join to reforest and fight against climate change. Throughout the decade, the celebration of Earth Day helped bring environmental concerns into focus, such as the importance of recycling, climate change, and clean energy.

 Main problems

Our environment faces several problems, and many of these seem to be worsening with time, bringing us into a time of a true environmental crisis. It is therefore becoming increasingly important to raise awareness of the existence of these issues, as well as what can be done to reduce their negative impact. 

I believe that some of the main issues that need to be addressed are:

- Overpopulation:

Overpopulation is the biggest problem that the earth can have, since as a result of it many problems are triggered; such as air, water and soil pollution that are caused directly by society and its habits, deforestation, which is caused by the great demand for space to build houses, the excessive felling of trees is needed, even complete forests for this , which leaves them with less oxygen, also global warming, by having less demand for products there is less damage. 

 

 - Waste disposal: 

Consumerism in turn brings a greater amount of waste from the factories since the entire population has to be supplied, but this could decrease if the factories take into account the environmental problem and dispose of their waste in a better way to reduce the damage they cause today there are companies that take into account pollution and care for the environment

- Public health issues: 

The health of the human being is essential for its conservation, so consider that changing all the things that humanity is doing wrong will improve the environment and humans will live much better, otherwise it could be the end of humanity, unless we achieve adapt to the extreme conditions that we would reach if the damage to the earth were at the same rate as we are going

 

What would happen if overpopulation was not controlled?

Prediction: I believe that if overpopulation is not controlled it would be the end of humanity, there would be conflicts over raw materials, such as water, the territory due to the demand for space for people, cities could be destroyed, entire continents because of this, another thing that could happen is that the quality of life that living beings would have, diseases caused by pollution will be more and more, many people will get sick which would cause deaths to increase, including animals, due to the loss of their habitats which would also cause the decrease in oxygen produced by plants, we have to be aware of what we can cause if we continue like this, it could be the end of humanity
